Total Cost of Transaction = Gas Used \* Gas Price

Gas used - total gas supposed to be used by the transaction - which will be given to the miner . On top of that, the miner will also get incentive for performing transaction which is called Gas Price.

For Grettings contract , the method setGreetings is taking only one parameter as per the definition, but when we invoked this method, we are passing one more parameter about metadata ( gas and from which account), how this is possible to pass additional param though the original method is accepting only one param?
